  NATIONAL COUNCIL  AND CONSULTATIVE MEETINGS  END

We wish to inform the entire Fellowship that the 82nd Session  of  the National Council Meeting ended successfully on Friday, 31st March, 2017 at the Apostolic Resource, Conference and Retreat Centre, Fafraha.  The National Council Meeting, which was preceded by the National Consultative Meeting, was held at the same venue from Wednesday, 22nd to Friday, 24th March, 2017.  The meeting attracted delegates from all the Administrative Areas in Ghana as well as Delegates from the USA  AreaMission Fields.  This  meeting  brought  to  the  fore  a  lot  of innovative suggestions which are being considered to push the Church forward.   Some of the decisions taken at these meetings are carried in this circular  and  subsequent  ones to  follow.

We are grateful for the participation and contribution of all Delegates from  the  various  Areas  as  regards  discussions  and proposals at the Consultative Meeting.

We wish to express our appreciation to all Saints who prayerfully supported these two important meetings to ensure that they were successful.

 

RECONSTITUTED NATIONAL EXECUTIVE

The National Council has reconstituted the National Executive as follows:

 That  Apostle Samuel KabuteyAwidi will serve as a Standby Member of the National Executive.  We urge all Saints to bear them up in prayers to enable them fulfill their mandate efficiently and effectively.

 

APOSTLE DANIEL KISSI BARDOOM  APPOINTED SECRETARY OF THE  MINISTRY  COMMITTEE

We   announce   for   the  information  of  the  entire  Fellowship  that  Apostle  Daniel  KissiBardoom,  the  Sunyani Area Superintendent has been appointed as Secretary of the Ministry Committee. With  his appointment, the  constitution  of  the Ministry Committee is as follows:

  2. Apostle Daniel KissiBardoom –           Secretary
  3. Apostle Alex Ofosu –           Member
  4. Apostle Victor  K.  Appiah              –           Member

While congratulating  ApostleKissiBardoom on his appointment, we solicit your prayers for him to discharge his duties effectively to the glory of God.

 

 

NATIONAL EASTER CONVENTION 2017

Headquarters hereby announces for the information of all Saints and Presbyteries that the Year 2017 Easter Convention will be observed nationwide at District Levels from Thursday, 13th April through Sunday, 16th April, 2017 under the Theme:  ‘The  Exceeding  Greatness  Of  His  Resurrection   Power’ (Ephesians 1:19 – 22; Philippians 3:10).

The Topics to be treated and other relevant particulars have been attached herewith for your perusal, please.

Meanwhile, we urge all Area and District Administrations to commence preparations now to ensure full success of the convention and also to meet National Council expectations.

 

RE-OPENING OF THE APOSTOLIC BIBLE COLLEGE 

The re-opening of the next Module for Students undergoing studies in the Sandwich Programme has been scheduled as follows:

Reporting:                   Monday, 8th May, 2017

Lecture commences:   Tuesday, 9th May, 2017

Lecture ends:              Friday, 18th May, 2017

Venue:                         The Apostolic Resource, Conference and Retreat Centre, Fafraha.

Tuition Fee:                  GH¢400.00 (Kindly note that other overhead costs such as feeding,

etc. will be communicated later)

We encourage all who wish to study at the Apostolic Bible College to pick forms and enroll to build their capacities for Ministerial work.

 

REVIEW OF THE APOSTOLIC PROTECTION PLAN (TAPP)  –  3RD PHASE

We humbly write to inform you about the current update of The Apostolic Protection Plan (TAPP).

Please note that the 2nd phase of the policy will be ending in July, 2017 while the 3rd phase begins from August, 2017 and ends in July, 2018 respectively.

Premium has been reviewed upwards to GHȻ40.00 per member (once a year) due to the upwards review in premium, death benefits would now be as follows:

  1. Member :   GHC1,500.00             C.   Parents (max 2)      :   GHC1,000.00
  2. Spouse :   GHC1,500.00             D.   Children (max 4) <24:   GHC  500.00

Waiting period is now 3 months for new entrants and 30-days grace period for renewals (existing members).  However, existing members who do not renew their policy within the grace period (30-days) would wait for another 3 months, just as new entrants.

We entreat all new members to sign up and existing members to renew their membership.

All Presbyteries are entreated to inform their members on the new transitions.

Forms will be given out to only a new member while existing members who had already filled Forms within the first phase or the 2nd phase of TAPP will just have to pay their premiums without filling any Forms.
